A (Photo) Week in Review

I have been failing miserably at doing weekly reviews. This is really unfortunate, because I love reading other people's weekly reviews and having my own to look back on. But somehow yet another week goes by and I don't end up writing the post. I don't think it helps that by the end of the week I am so tired that I can't remember what we did most days, let alone write about it!

So, I'm trying a new approach. I am going to try to take more photos and create a photo review of our week.  It won't be an exhaustive review by any stretch, just me trying to capture a few memories. Here goes...

Halloween Legos....

Counting backwards from ten with our old Rightstart cards...

I love kindergarten artwork...

A clove apple....which unfortunately lasted only a day before attracting a mass of fruit flies, which we are still fighting....

A crocheted pumpkin Grace made for the mantle...

Christopher's art project....

Leaves on the stream during a walk in the woods....I love fallen leaves on water....

Leaves underfoot. Brown and crunchy, but still pretty....

Full moon. There was supposed to a partial eclipse, which the kids were excited about, but it turned out to be so slight, that it was barely noticeable. They still enjoyed being outside in the dark though....

And finally, the relax bottles we made last Friday for our Fun Friday activity. We followed the directions here, and they came out beautifully. Nobody can resist walking by one without swirling it up and watching the glitter fall...I think these will be great for those children of mine who get a bit antsy during read-aloud time!

Till Next Time!

  1. That's funny... I was just snapping pictures yesterday so I wouldn't forget things for a weekly report! The kindergarten artwork and crocheted pumpkin are fantastic, and I love the shot of leaves on the water.

We'll have to give those relax bottles a try! They look great - I love the color choices!
