Halloween Unit Study

I put this unit together last year, to use during Halloween week. I plan to add a little to it each year, as the kids get older and interests change. Obviously, I do not plan on doing everything on the list this year! We will pick and choose what we can fit in.

Language Arts

Create a spooky little Halloween story (Mad-Libs style)
Write reports on scary creatures chosen from Creepy Creatures DVD
Choose a Halloween custom (trick or treating, pumpkin carving, costumes, etc.) and write a short report about it

For the young ones: Read "The Little Orange House" (with orange construction paper & scissors handy)
