Monday Musings

This week I am....

Thinking of my grandfather, who would have turned 100 this week. He was born the day the Titanic sank.

Organizing all my goat notes to try to make sense of it all. I spent yesterday reading four goat books and taking copious notes;).

Hoping the cold I have coming on isn't too bad.

Wishing for a little rain-actually a full week of rain would be great, but it isn't in the forecast. It is so very dry here!

Trying to decide between Sonlight's four day and five day programs for next year. Leaning toward the four day.

Trying to decide once and for all if we need a new math curriculum for next year or not.

Buying the yarn I didn't get around to buying last week for my afghan-in-progress.

Trying a few new recipes. We've been in kind of a dinner rut lately.

Debating whether or not getting involved in Pinterest is the way to go. I have heard such great things about it...but would it just be a huge time-suck that increases my "to-do" list?

Watching the Boston Marathon. It's supposed to be almost 90 degrees. Those poor people.

Continuing with the radish experiments we've been doing with our Sonlight science kit. The kids are really into this!

Hoping to get a weekly report up here at the end of the week!!

  1. Sonlight is always so very tempting to me... good thing we have no money for curricula right now! I recently finished debating math programs and decided to stick with what we're doing--Math Mammoth and LOF.

Good luck with the goats! I am trying to talk dh into chickens.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!
